On behalf of the Yeshiva, the Hanhala, the Bochurim, and the entire Wagner family, we extend our deepest appreciation to each and every one who has contributed, shared, and supported this campaign. The love and support has brought a tremendous emotional lift to our beloved Rabbi Akiva, and bez"h this should help him along the path to full recovery. When we started this campaign, we were trying to remove the pressing concerns of the moment from the Rosh Yeshiva. The funds raised so far will cover the deficit of the Yeshiva from this past year, and fund some desperately overdue renovations to the Yeshiva building. But having come so far, we dare not stop here. Continuing the campaign with a bonus goal of $1,000,000 will ensure that the financial pressures don't start immediately piling up again, and allow more breathing room for Rabbi Wagner to continue to focus fully on his health. So, if you haven't yet participated, if there's someone you are still able to share this with, if you are tapped out for the 2021 fiscal year but are able to contribute more next week or next month, please help us keep this momentum going. Twenty-Five years ago, Rabbi Akiva Wagner founded Yeshivas Lubavitch Toronto. Renowned for his complete dedication to the personal growth and success of each individual Talmid, the Yeshiva quickly became one of the flagship educational institutions in the Chabad world. Over these years, over 1,000 students have benefited from the leadership, personal-example and dedication, and their impact has been felt throughout the world. Many alumni are Rabbanim, Shluchim and community leaders around the world.

During all of those years, Rabbi Wagner personally carried the entire burden of the Yeshiva - taking personal responsibility for its financial, spiritual, and material needs. He has also continued to inspire his alumni with his famous weekly email Farbrengens.

For the last two years, as we all know, Rabbi Wagner has been fighting a serious illness. While he continues to put all his energy into the Yeshiva, it has become impossible for him to shoulder the financial burden alone.

We all NEED to help!

At this time, we each need to step up to help Rabbi Wagner carry the Yeshiva forward, so that it will be able to survive and thrive through these turbulent times. Please join and do your part, going above and beyond your norm, until b'ezras Hashem Rabbi Wagner merits a complete and speedy Refuah and is able to return to all aspects of the Yeshiva administration in full health.

In addition to funding the day-to-day operations of the Yeshiva, any extra funds will be utilized for desperately needed upgrades to the Yeshiva building. This will ensure that the Talmidim will continue to grow and benefit in the way that Rabbi Wagner wants of them.
